Rt.1 Concrete Intersection - Newbury, MA

Job Description: More than 2000 yd3 (1500 m3) of concrete was used to construct pavement outside of Newbury, MA, USA. The project, MassDOT Project No. 608494, comprised 9 in. (230 mm) thick pavement, with 1150 linear ft (460m) on Route 1 and 400 linear ft (120 m) on Middle Road. It is the first use of concrete pavement placed in Massachusetts by the Department of Transportation for more than 50 years.
